Overview

Pair of decorative vases, gilt bronze and marble, France, circa 1900
Refined pair of French gilt bronze vases from the turn of the 20th century, mounted on square bases of richly veined pink marble. Each vase is decorated in high relief with charming allegorical scenes of children in pastoral settings — one with playful cherubs beside a small cottage, the other with figures among flowers and reeds. The handles are shaped as elegant scrolling foliage, giving the pair a sense of graceful movement and balance.
Standing approximately 26 cm high, these vases combine sculptural charm with decorative sophistication. The golden patina of the bronze contrasts beautifully with the natural tones of the marble bases. Both are in very good antique condition, showing gentle, even wear and a fine, mellow surface consistent with age.
A decorative and collectible pair representative of the romantic spirit of the Belle Époque, equally appealing as mantel ornaments or centerpiece accents. Offered at a particularly attractive price for their quality and authenticity.
Free delivery is offered for all combined orders above 20 000 ₽ (200 €). Multiple items can be shipped together, and payment in other currencies is available upon request.
