Overview

This type of candlesticks is called Girandole and is deservedly considered “royal”

The girandole is a special type of lamp that first appeared in the 17th century in France. In fact, this lighting device is somewhat reminiscent of a candelabra. True, there is some difference: girandoles were complex compositions, decorated with crystal pendants or other sculptural details.

This type of lighting fixture is a special shaped candlestick for several candles at once. Its peculiarity is that the horns are located in a circle, i.e. around the central axis of the product, which is called the stand. These lighting devices were made in special workshops. Often, professional jewelers were involved in the production of girandoles.

Our girandoles are decorated with rare cut crystal prisms with additional "stars" on the faceted surface, which gives additional reflections and glow when lighting candles
