Meat clamp, Silverplate and Cow horn, Leg of Lamb holder, 1900s France
In French this is called “Manche a Gigot”. It will hold the bone while carving a leg of lamb or ham so that your hands stay clean. The handle is made of striated cow horn, hand carved in a polygonal shape. The metal part is pre-stainless steel, in great conditions. The joint is tight and firm.
