Tea service, pewter, Italy, 19th century

This small tea or coffee service in pewter has an Empire style, refined and discreet.
It consists of:
- a small teapot or coffee pot, with a spout ending in a bird's head, 300 ml capacity, 24 cm height. - a milk jug,
- a sugar bowl
- a circular tray, with handles, and a hand-beaten bottom, 31 cm length including the handles. Pewter is a metal alloy composed of tin (85-99%) and small quantities of antimony and copper added to give the tin consistency and rigidity.
This set is small in size, also ideal as a decorative object. Excellent gift idea for the holidays.
